About the project

RebelCairo and myself joined forces to create a piece of work revealing the back story of being a professional athlete in a sport with not a lot of support and following in Egypt; to get very close to the athletes’ day to day routine, struggles, goals, and program to really see what it takes to reach this level of sportmanship. We worked with the Egyptian Olympic Artistic Swimming team during their preparations to the Tokyo Olympic games and the final outcome was a glimpse into their underwater world.
